Job Description

Summary:

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who has demonstrated the ability to function independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and demanding work environment. This person will be intellectually curious, intuitive, rigorous, trustworthy, and have the highest ethical standards. In addition, (s)he will be comfortable addressing audiences, both large and small, in a professional manner. This person will add value by working on several simultaneous projects with minimal supervision and exemplary follow-through.

Use advanced design and development skills in C# and .NET to build applications serving internal users. Communicate and collaborate directly with members of the business, trading desk and development teams to drive feature and functionality definitions. This is a front-end GUI focused role. 

Key job responsibilities include:

-Iteratively design and develop functional and responsive GUI applications by collaborating with traders and other engineers.

-Design, develop and deploy application components and widgets, internal frameworks and integrate 3rd party tools.

-Work as part of an established, experienced development team to build intuitive and robust user interfaces that integrate with real-time trading systems.

 

Education:

-Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, computer science, or mathematics

Qualifications:

-Experience in developing enterprise-wide front-end application.

-Strong programming skills in C#/.NET.

-Expert in SOLID principles, concurrent and multi-threaded programming.

-Extensive experience in C#, Winforms, WPF/XAML, dotnet core and Reactive Extensions.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Javascript experience including ReactJS, Typescript, HTML5/CSS3, Nodejs, WebSockets

-Experience with python is desirable but not a must.

-Financial industry experience is a plus
