Job Summary

Promote the sharing and adoption of our client's application platform solutions. The Sales team is looking for an Senior Middleware Sales Specialist to join us in Minneapolis, MN. In this role, you will support our strategy by enabling customers to define, develop, and deploy their next-generation agile middleware strategies. You'll be responsible for building strategic relationships with executives and key business leaders to promote our portfolio of middleware solutions, including application development, API Management, business rules management, business process management (BPM), content aggregation, data federation, and service integration on-site or in the cloud. As a Senior Middleware Sales Specialist, you'll need to have experience selling solutions within Fortune 500 accounts. Successful applicants must reside in a state where our client is registered to do business.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in a solutions sales role
  • 4+ years of experience focused on enterprise middleware like Red Hat Middleware, IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, MuleSoft, TIBCO, and Apigee.
  • Background in consultative customer engagement with a middleware provider or on the sales team of a middleware reseller
  • Broad technical experience with enterprise middleware technologies
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to executives at large firms
  • Ability to sell solutions in a multiproduct environment
  • Proven ability to work with global cross-functional teams and achieve success for customers
  • Balance of strategic and tactical skills
  • Master's degree or equivalent is a plus
