Job summary

Improve business and create solutions that serve both our client and our customers. The Sales team is looking for an Inside Sales Account Representative to join us in Sunnyvale, CA. In this role, you will partner with field sales professionals to uncover new sales opportunities within an assigned territory. You'll identify, nurture, and close opportunities with both new and existing customers, manage forecasts on a quarterly basis, and track customer data.

Primary job responsibilities

 

  • Sell our client's comprehensive enterprise solutions
  • Provide sales support to 3-4 field sales professionals
  • Manage forecasts, close deals, and track customer data using company-standard customer-relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Grow existing business relationships and acquire new business
  • Meet assigned sales quotas

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, marketing, or a technical discipline
  • 2+ years of successful quota-carrying sales experience
  • 2+ years of solutions sales experience in software or high-technology offerings and services
  • Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce.com (SFDC)
  • Knowledge of Unix, Linux, Microsoft Windows, and application server marketplaces
  • Industry familiarity with open source principles is a plus
