Description

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will take complete ownership of the integrations area through which 80% of our users access and experience our product. Our product integrates with an ever-growing number of systems to help our users take advantage of our powerful video platform with the tools they already use. You will own integrations with systems like:

  • Learning management systems and content management systems to be able to seamlessly allow managing and consuming video from those systems.
  • Video conferencing software like Zoom, BlueJeans, Skype for Business, to allow enterprises to automatically capture, convert and upload videos to a secure, searchable library.
  • Video capture hardware to make it easy to manage recording remotely, enable live streaming, simplify the publishing process for your recordings.
  • And many more including custom integrations built on our public APIs.

In this position you will be responsible for working with customers, integration partners, business stakeholders, and engineers to drive the best possible experience for our users. You will interface directly with our customers to understand their needs, work with partners and our engineering team to create solutions to those needs and drive projects through the entire lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. In this role, you're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to stakeholders as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders and partner teams to identify feature requirements for new integrations and key enhancements to existing integrations.
  • Evaluate asks for new features to understand customer goals and business opportunity, use your creativity to generate a proposal that achieves those goals with feasible cost.
  • Own the end-to-end customer experience by writing clear functional specs to capture customer need, user experience, and cross-team dependencies with UX / Backend / Devops teams.
  • Construct detailed project plans with schedules, dependencies, risks and mitigations.  Use the plan to track progress and communicate status to upper management and project partners.
  • Become the expert within the engineering team that sales engineers and customer success reps rely upon to help land new major customers.
  • Drive the release process for updates in your area by keeping customer success, support, marketing, and business stakeholders advised, writing change notes, facilitating release including pushing the release publicly.
  • Draw upon your background as a developer to understand complex technical architecture, read APIs and code documentation, and author sample code to demonstrate system capabilities.
  • Technical coordination with strategic partners.
  • Share program/project process frameworks, tools, and best practices that can be adopted throughout the organization.

  • You have a 4-year degree in Computer Science or a relevant field and 5+ years of experience
