Our DevOps/CloudOps teams are looking for an engineering leader with a passion for developing easy-to-use, customer focused capabilities which power Haven's customer facing and back office platforms.

Our teams build, promote and evangelize development automation, cloud based infrastructure and system capabilities that support Haven’s growing digital presence. You’ll contribute to optimizing agile engineering practices from concept to deployment as a member of an autonomous, cross-functional team. . We're looking for engineers that enjoy a collaborative environment and have a passion for releasing high quality software through iterative, development practices.

What we look for:
  • You have a passion for technology and are experienced with modern tools including a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • You care about cycle time and optimize CI/CD practices and tools to rapidly deploy changes to customers while minimizing risk using blue-green deployments, and controlled rollouts.
  • You have consistently made choices that positively impact all of engineering. Engineering excellence is a collective set of choices we make as technologists-whether to increase code coverage or ship a product on time, investing in developer productivity vs saving $$$.
  • You have the ability to balance tactical items against long term value. You demonstrate strong judgment across a multitude of situations and drive decision making taking all factors into account.
  • You can work and live at various levels, zoom-in and out as the situation demands. You stay connected to the details while possessing the ability to see the big picture.
  • You have hands-on experience across various platforms and can navigate your way across a complex and rapidly changing technology landscape and stay on top of industry trends.

Requirements
  • Expertise in tools and methods to enable efficiency, performance and agility through automating DevOps processes (Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker).
  • Experience with AWS (or other enterprise cloud services)
  • Experience in open source streaming products, Micro services and Message Oriented Middleware, Stream processing, Master Data Management.
  • Knowledge of developing highly scalable distributed systems using Open source technologies.
  • Knowledge of public/private cloud capabilities including compute, storage, database and analytics.
  • Working knowledge of testing automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of web application development using NodeJS.
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database management systems.
  • BA/BS
  • Authorized to work in the US with or without sponsorship
Preferred:
  • BS in Computer Science or Engineering Discipline
  • Knowledge of web application development using NodeJS.
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database management systems.
