Chief of Staff to the CEO

We are seeking a strategic advisor to drive our company's rapid growth by supporting and delivering on the strategic and aspirational priorities of our founder and CEO.   

Working directly with the CEO, you will increase revenue, improve efficiency, and scale operational excellence by organizing, analyzing and driving priorities, capabilities and relationships for our CEO. In this newly created role, the Chief of Staff [CoS, CEO] will play a significant part in the execution of the CEO’s initiatives, vision, and will drive all operational aspects for the office of the CEO [budgets, roadmaps, board prep, and ad hoc requests, etc.) by optimally aligning corporate strategy and market intel with the CEO's passion projects to take advantage of these opportunities.

With big ideas there is ambiguity.  The right person will be able to translate that uncertainty into something that is functional, direct and gets results. Acting as the communication arm for our CEO with other executives in the org, clients, press and major stakeholders means being able to communicate wants, needs, concerns, ideas in an effective, efficient and unique way.  You will need to tell a story with data and tactics that compel and inspire action.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and drive CEO level priorities across the organization (and externally) with a rapidly evolving set of initiatives.
  • Take ownership of projects – managing them from beginning to end and communicating progress plan to CEO and other executives.
  • Synthesize information from various departments enabling the CEO and team to make key strategic decisions in a timely manner.
  • Prep and join CEO for internal and external meetings, drive effective follow up, including correspondence and next steps.

What you’ll need:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a relevant field
  • At least 5 years of experience serving in a Chief of Staff position at a high growth [ideally B2B tech] org 
  • At least 5 years of experience implementing change within a large organization


  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with an uncanny ability to marry narrative and numbers for compelling, strategic storytelling.
  • Demonstrated accountability for a broad range of activities and ability to take ownership by diving deeper where needed.
  • Proven experience with project management including the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities at an extremely fast-paced schedule.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly learn and absorb new information


  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly proactive person who demonstrates initiative and ownership and can work with little direction on complicated, sensitive assignments
