Job Description

Our client, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a Product Lead to join our New York office.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with trading teams and Core Engineering to gather requirements, drive strategic alignment, manage dependencies, and mitigate project risks
  • Defining market problem statements, end-to-end user scenarios, functional and technical requirements, and measures of success
  • Leading the product feature roadmap and planning for comprehensive product support
  • Driving internal client engagement and adoption of products

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • Expertise in C++/Python and a background in software engineering
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, market micro structure, market data, and order and execution management systems
  • Experience working with quantitative traders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with distributed and/or highly concurrent systems (a plus)
  • Experience with low-latency systems and/or high transaction environments (a plus)
