Job Description

Our client is the central nervous system of global finance, providing thousands of data and analytics services to our customers.

Our team is building a Platform as a service (PaaS) based on Kubernetes that allows engineering teams to develop, build and deploy their services to production in minutes.

You are:

  •  Eager to work on the line between Software Engineering and Systems Engineering
  •  Curious and a step ahead when it comes to software trends
  •  A natural leader who takes ownership of the team’s deliveries
  •  Willing to take responsibility for running an important part of our infrastructure

We'll trust you to:

  •  Design & implement new features for continuous build and deployment platform
  •  Build well-tested high-quality tools to improve developer experience & productivity
  •  Implement tools to automate deployment, monitoring & operations of the platform
  •  Participate in daily scrums and work with cross-functional development teams

You'll need to have:

  •  5+ years programming, Python or Go is a plus
  •  In-depth understanding of UNIX/Linux system internals and TCP/IP networking
  •  3+ years scripting experience (Bash/Python), infrastructure automation and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack)
  •  Good knowledge of computer science fundamentals (algorithms and data structures)
  •  Cloud native mindset, including microservices, resilience and scale-out

We'd love to see:

  •  A track record of running large-scale systems
  •  Containerization experience especially Docker and Kubernetes
