Job Description

The Institutional Sales Applications team is seeking a driven and dedicated developer to join our fast paced Work-flow team as it builds a revolutionary product - DASH - in the equity sales and trading space.

The Work-flow team researches, prototypes and develops work-flow solutions by tying together the disparate end to end work-flows of equity sales traders.

DASH is used by equity sales traders to more efficiently manage their client relationships, to discover trading opportunities and to communicate and collaborate across the trading desk. By integrating market-moving information with tools for targeting, prioritizing, and interacting with relevant shareholders based on their up-to-date investment activity, positions, and interest patterns, DASH serves as the one stop shop for an equity salesperson.

The ideal candidate has excellent object oriented programming skills and a proven ability to design and build frontend and backend software components that can scale as our product grows. Our developers contribute to the team by putting forth their own ideas regarding product features, UI screens and design decisions. We are looking for a self-starter, a good communicator who will work with the product managers and sales teams to understand our clients' workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Significant professional experience building user interfaces that enhance and optimize client workflow
  • Object oriented programming skills in C++, JavaScript or equivalent
  • An interest in hands-on project management
  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Knowledge in the institutional capital markets domain is a plus
