Job Description

As a Senior Product Designer, you will own the experience for a wide area of the product.

What you'll do:

  • Design and conduct research studies that drive tactical and strategic product decisions
  • Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into impactful metrics-driven solutions
  • Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, data science and product management to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch and beyond
  • Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways
  • Own projects from start to finish, while helping to guide more junior designers through their design process

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in end-to-end product design (UX research, visual design and interaction design)
  • Experience with front-end web development (HTML/CSS)
  • Portfolio featuring examples of visual and interaction design work
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Ability to recognize good/bad design and help others improve through constructive critique
  • Located in or willing to relocate to New York City (Relocation available)
