Andiamo is an energetic technology recruiting firm with a start-up vibe that has tripled in size in the last two years. Throughout our tenure working with pioneering institutions, we have heard one specific request from every client, ranging from the largest financial institutions to the smallest start ups: we want to engage and hire more women in engineering.

 

The Women Impact Technology Division (WIT) was founded with the purpose of introducing top-tier female technologists to our top tier clients. We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven recruiter to become a high-performing WIT Specialist, engaging with and advising some of the brightest women in the industry. 

 

Recruiters on the WIT team identify the best of the best across a variety of expertise and introduce them to a diverse set of organizations (including Uber, Hulu, Bloomberg, Etsy, Wayfair, and Refinery29, among others) through structured hiring events across the country.  We pair elite companies with elite technologists at these invite-only events.  Additionally, the events host informational sessions about attending companies, panels by female thought leaders, and networking opportunities.

 

This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to enhance the recruiting experience by engaging with smart women and helping them optimize their career opportunities.

 

What you'll do:

  • Learn about industry leaders, their technology and be given the tools to identify the highest valued talent
  • Create and execute research and sourcing strategies to identify top women technologists
  • Develop a diverse network of highly talented women candidates
  • Develop strong relationships with candidates and invite them to our elite recruiting events
  • Leverage an innate intellectual curiosity and develop market knowledge to engage talent
  • Travel to and attend events in the top tech hubs across the country
  • Proactively assist in executing seamless day-of operation for large scale events

 

What we're looking for:

Recruiting experience in a variety of technical environments ranging from corporate recruiting, third-party engineering recruiting, or other forms of technical talent engagement. 

  • Highly sophisticated communication skills (oral & written): ability to establish contacts and build long term relationships;
  • Persuasive, confident and clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Articulate, positive attitude and presentable demeanor with an ability to evangelize the WIT program to prospective candidates;
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with senior level technology professionals;
  • Sense of humor; mandatory.
