Job Description


Our client is looking for a mid-level software developer with strong recent working knowledge of C#, WPF, WinForms & SQL.  Experience and familiarity with test-driven development and the relevant tools are required.  

This is a client facing role, so the successful candidate must have excellent communication skills.  Our client is looking for someone who works well on a team but has the capability to work independently to accomplish tasks of a moderate to large scope.

The candidate must have excellent analytical skills and must possess the ability to work quickly and effectively under time pressure, as needed, to resolve production problems on an internal, proprietary application.

The position is client-facing software development for a prime brokerage team comprising of roughly 30% support and 70% development.  The team is small and has ambitious objectives - it excels in a fairly relaxed working environment.  The development will be focused on order management and real time P&L systems.


Skills Required:


  • Minimum of 5 years of software development experience
  • C#: minimum 3 years
  • WPF: minimum 2 years
  • SQL, specifically with MS SQL Server
  • WinForms
  • WCF and web services
  • Strong Multi-threading
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Automated testing
  • Refactoring
