Job Description

Our client, a leading streaming media firm, is looking for a Technical Sourcer to help build their growing team.  We are seeking a Technical Sourcer who has experience attracting technical talent to help support and grow our business in Seattle. You will be challenged in attracting highly motivated and technically flexible software professionals across a variety of disciplines: development, program management, test, and design with experience across a broad range of consumer platforms including smart phones, tablets, game consoles, and PCs—as well as expertise in cloud computing and web services.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Ability to identify potential recruiting opportunities, formulate and execute a sourcing strategy accordingly 
  • Define, develop, and execute on traditional sourcing strategies; direct sourcing, industry networking, internet/social media recruiting, increasing employee referrals, and attending relevant industry events and conferences, but also recommending creative new ways to attract top 
  • Research and gather market intelligence and be able to understand and execute against shifts in the marketplace that present recruiting opportunities
  • Track candidate activity and share with internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to Talent Acquisition’s effort of redefining recruitment processes of employer branding, utilizing social media, revamping job descriptions, and being aware of the candidate experience.
  • Partner with the Technology Recruiter and Digital Products organization to understand business objectives and successfully build a pipeline of active and passive top talent through various channels.
  • Source highly skilled engineering talent from top tier tech companies within a highly competitive recruiting landscape.
  • Evaluate candidates on core values and skills
  • Partner with HR colleagues and engineering leaders in recommending new hire compensation packages to ensure we have a competitive position according to market and industry standards.



REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience required).
  • 3+ years of technology sourcing or comparable experience/knowledge of the Technology discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high volume recruitment activities for various technical professional levels.
  • Strong research skills to understand and map the ever-changing technology and media industry
  • Success in implementing innovative methods to source and attract passive candidates.
  • Collaborative ability to partner with Technical Recruiter(s) to meet the needs of the business.
  • Strong business acumen; keep abreast of market trends and track the competition.
  • Be able to juggle multiple priorities/deadlines through exceptional project management.
  • Have the desire to meets and exceed personal and professional goals
  • Passion for entertainment and consumption of content
